    Biography
Ida y Vuelta succeeds to incorporate the Argentinean folk and popular music with a profound and committed message and a vivid strength in every interpretation. Chacarearas, zambas and gatos are intertwined with songs without a particular established form. The bass drum ( bombo ) and the guitar are played together with the keyboard, the sax and the drums performing a particular sound between a traditional and a modern one. Repertoire: our own version of songs of different famous singers and composers of the Argentine folk and popular music (Mercedes Sosa, Atahualpa Yupanqui, V ctor Heredia, Horacio Guarany, Le n Gieco, Peteco Carabajal, among others) are melted together with our own songs. We emphasize composing songs which lyrics go from social problems (Chacarera de los Pobres, Pan y Circo) to those that go through the human soul and hart (Que dif cil es guardar un sue o, La soledad te espera), enlarging this way the folk and popular music song book. Our commitment: we try to go further than just words, sharing not only the feelings and truth of the songs, but also the real action of helping others. Thus, our interpretations are committed to sharing art, culture and the real solidarity: the one that gives and receives, the one that shares needs, joys, sorrows, dreams... Integration: since 2003, we have been performing integrated interpretations (music, story telling and dance). We started working together with the story tellers Stella Maris Garcia and Cecilia Paz in the pe a (a folkloric meeting, where you can listen to and dance folk music) La Compartida . We also participated in the production of the Jornadas de Decires Contares y Cantares at Porte a in the province of Cordoba. Together with Stella Maris Garc a we performed different interpretations, like Emociones compartidas , Suerte x Venir and Suerte x Venir Musica x un Libro , where music and story telling are melted and shared. We are also being accompanied by folklore dance since a long time ago, we have shared the same stage with many different folkloric ballets.

    Old Melodies - [Paraguay]

“The music of Paraguay is not played on many radio stations around the world, so most people never get a chance to hear it in their lifetime.  It is my hope that this website will introduce many visitors to this beautiful music and some of the great artists who perform it.  For others, it may bring back some special memories.  Many of my recordings are 25 years old, some were made 60 years ago.  They represent just a small portion of the rich and varied musical heritage of Paraguay.  The songs are sung in Guarani as well as in Spanish, which are the two languages of that country.”

    Oscar Reynolds - [Bolivia]

The San Francisco Observer says, "Any flute player would marvel at the tight control over each note Reynolds displays while packing a stream of emotions into his complex scale runs, but to see him do that and play the guitar is quite impressive."

Thousands of years ago, the Ancient Incas created vibrant melodies with instruments made from bone, bamboo, wood, and other natural materials. Today's instruments are a living evolution of the traditional.

    Inti-Illimani - [Chile]

World Music。“Since its inception, Inti-Illimani has promoted Latin American folk music worldwide, often in collaboration with some of the world's most renowned artists, including Federico Fellini, John Williams, Paco Peña, Patricio Manns, Arja Saijonmaa, Holly Near, Peter Gabriel, Mercedes Sosa, Wynton Marsalis, Sting, Youssou'n'Dour, Pete Seeger, and Bruce Springsteen.

    Los Koyas - [Cuba]

    Music from Andes - [WebSite]

这是Jim的地方——“I've been collecting music from the Andean Cordillera during college and for years afterward.”

    Fiesta Andina,

    http://www.lalabar.com/news/uploadfile/2006515135846495.jpg

I've had to confront society and the Church, which says that homosexuals are damned. That's absurd. How can someone who's born like this be judged? I didn't attend lesbian classes. No one taught me to be this way. I was born this way, from the moment I opened my eyes in this world. I've never been to bed with a man. Never. That's how pure I am; I have nothing to be ashamed of. My gods made me the way I am?'

Nobody, except for Jesus Christ can open their arms as Chavela Vargas does。

    Delye - [Costa Rica]

“Against everyday life, full of wars, conflicts, violence; Dëlyë, whose name means 'everyday life' in an ancient Costa Rican language called Cabecar, propose with their music and lyrics something different: come back to our personal roots to end with the violence.”
